PIT & FISSURE SEALERS
Sealers, varnishes and liners represent a category of accessory materials used for a variety of purposes in dentistry. Fissure sealers are used as preventative measures against the occurrence of occlusal decays during the cavity-prone years. These materials come in light- and self-cured versions, as well as in clear or opaque form. Both the light- and self-cured versions are equally suitable, however, the light-cured materials offer the advantages of easier handling and chair-time savings.
